THE COAT
The Coat of Tominaga Nakamoto University had its origin in the coat of the specialized Tominaga Nakamoto University School of Medicine designed in 1992, and introduced on March 31st, 2009 as the symbol for Tominaga Nakamoto University consisting of a Sun with rays of light in a semicircle in the central area, over a green semicircular base which serves as a complement to the upper semicircle. This sun and the base are surrounded by a laurel and an olive branch.
The image of the radiant sun
Signifies power and truth, constancy, greatness of spirit, sacrifice and unity. Furthermore it is meant to reflect all of the virtues of its winning spirit: integrity, firmness, prudence, honesty, vigor and compassion. It representsas well, unity of thought.
The White Horizon
Signifies that human beings have as only limitation to our goals, our thoughts. The orderly effort we put towards the desired cause can transcend this limitation.
The Sun
Has an intense white color. As well as its rays over a red semicircular background and a white horizon, all these over a green colored semicircular base which serves as a complement to the upper semicircle.
The Green Colored Semicircular Base
Signifies nature at the service of humanity with its green color which analogously defends life giving hope. Nature, which we have to defend, comprising within her from the smallest flower, to animals, to the ecosystems of the Globe.
The Laurel Wreath
It is a tree with masculine energy, whose astral body represents courage, knowledge, victory, honor, and reward. It symbolizes the honor of respecting one's goals and triumph based on one's effort.
The Olive Branch [on the right]
Signifies peace, progress and abundance reached thanks to personal development. It also represents since antiquity, integrity, firmness, prudence, honesty and the participation of each individual in a collective development.
In the coat the colors green, white and red from the Mexican Flag ,the rising sun from Japan, and the laurel and olive from Peru, are conjugated all in one symbol within a tri cultural fusion.
