The aim of the Coordination of Investigation is:

The permanent entail of the medical education with the clinical, epidemiological or basic investigation; beside elaborating works of thesis, indispensable requirement that the Institution stipulates to obtain the title of Medical Surgeon.

Inside his functions they are:

• To coordinate the works of thesis elaborated by the pupils of the School of Medicine. These works cover a part of the scientific knowledge generated in our institution,
• adviser Assigns for the supervision in the production of each one of these works of investigation of the pupils.
• Coordinate the equipment of teachers advisers, which take charge guiding each of the pupils in the production of his work of investigation together with the external tutors.
• To guarantee that Pupil - adviser of thesis carries out a teamwork - adviser Metodológico, in the activity of investigation.
• To supervise, to control and to support the agreements that are had by other educational institutions and of investigation in order that our pupils realize works of investigation.

With regard to the University Tominaga Nakamoto has carried out works of basic investigation in the area of Bacteriology and Epidemiology linked to the centers of health of the State of Mexico.
