Degree Program in Law

Upon graduation the B.A. in Law has two fundamental courses for the advancement and application of their knowledge: the workplace, and a perfecting of their personal formation to define the graduate's profile:

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of the historic framework of Law, its fundamental concepts, its main legal institutions in their legal doctrine and jurisprudence aspects
  • Knowledge of the different branches of Law and their relationship to other disciplines
  • Applying the methodology, techniques and regulatory and legal criteria to generate solutions for legal problems
  • Apply, interpret and suitably comply with legal dispositions applicable to individuals and businesses
  • Will perform diagnoses and studies of the status of current legal institutions and in particular the structures of government process proposing the leading reforms
  • Designing planning and promoting the efficient use of the Mexican legal framework as well as the criteria and notions of international law
  • Counting on a solid formation into various fields of study of Law, they will be able to perform consulting work in which they will propose solutions to problems faced by businesses or clients as well as follow up on the design, implementation and evaluation of the application of a legal strategy
  • Abilities:
  • Adaptation to technological advances and socioeconomic changes at a national and international level
  • Leadership in order to conduct working groups and achieve concrete goals in an atmosphere of mutual confidence
  • Participation in multidisciplinary teams which achieve the institutional objectives in an atmosphere of cooperation and mutual support
  • Handling of oral and written language according to the logical rules of legal argumentation such as the development of the critical sense and attitude, the ability to perform valid logical inferences, analogies inductions, deductions, abstractions and qualitative analysis
  • Perform legal studies and investigations detecting areas of opportunity in the various legal instruments and institutions derived from them and proposing improvements to each situation which represents an obstacle to the success of justice honesty and efficiency into various powers of the state
  • Attitudes:
  • Analytical-reflexive attitude before issuing an opinion on the facts presented to them regarding a conflict situation
  • Of Professional commitment to identify with organizational objectives and offering their best effort towards their achievement
  • Of respect and observance towards the ethical canons applying professional ethics is the norm which regulates the performance of the institutions graduates and have it prevail under any circumstances
  • Of permanent learning emphasizing the importance of actualizing and incorporating to their professional work the knowledge recently published in books and articles
